A little more about us

On this page you will find a combination of stuff we get asked all the time and frankly just some bits we are proud of and would like you to know. Hopefully we’ve covered enough about us here. What we can’t do of course is talk about you, and that’s what it should all be about really. So should you have your own set of questions we’d love to hear them.

1. What do you do?

In our more ‘agency’ moments, we say we help brands to listen, understand, connect and influence their audience.

And indeed we do.

What it really means is that we’re there if you are looking to:

- use social media to reach and engage your audience
- put in place a more effective content and web strategy
- generate attention and traffic with digital campaigns
- convert more traffic by enhancing the user experience
- or just produce a website, application, widget, game, or rich media piece

2. Where are you?

Whilst we can often be found in London, our true home is by the sea. Overlooking the magnificent Poole Harbour to be precise. It is truly an inspirational location for us and never a compromise for our clients.

3. Who works there?

We’ve come from some pretty diverse backgrounds, but all share a passion for digital. Our team comprises planners, creatives, experience architects, designers and developers.

Many cut their teeth at the London agencies you will have heard of, others have taken a different path. But be assured that they all have the expertise, talent, commitment and experience you would expect from a top digital agency.

4. What is your history?

We evolved out of Bright Blue Day; a creative communications agency that’s been around for over 40 years. As part of this group we combine the scale, integrated thinking and maturity of an established agency, with the specialist skills, experience and dexterity of a digital pure play.

5. How do you go about your work?

We’ve been quietly building a pretty solid reputation for delivering remarkable work, simply.

What we do needs processes, but not necessarily the same one each time. Sometimes you need a heavy touch, other times a light touch. We aim to be as open and flexible as possible as we find it’s the best way of delivering value for our clients.

We believe in putting together small agile teams for each project and work collaboratively to put deliverables in our clients’ hands as quickly as possible. We do rapid prototyping and iterations to maximise efficiency and frankly get to a better end product quicker and therefore save unnecessary cost for our clients.

6. Whom do you work with?

We work for brands big and small, some near some far. We can’t say there is such a thing as a typical client in terms of geography, sector, consumer or business to business, but they all instinctively know that they get the best quality work from a digital specialist.

We reckon a lot of agencies set too much store on their people and culture. Of course this is important, but is not an ends in itself, it is about how the people and the culture help deliver a better product and service. We appreciate that what our clients need is great work, everytime from a partner they can trust to just get the job done. Perhaps its about being out of town that allows us to reach a better balance.

7. And what about the money bit?

We know that honest, upfront commercial relationships with our clients are the only way to work.

We respect the fact that we won’t always be the lowest cost, but we always aim to demonstrate value and be clear on deliverables and timescale. We are grown-up enough to say when we would prefer to not work on a project than to lose money or not be able to deliver what’s needed within the available budgets.

A dogged focus on commercial results and measuring ROI ensures our clients have a thorough appreciation of the value we’ve delivered. It’s why they keep coming back.
